I consider a right handed mug to be a mug held in your right hand with the image facing you, and a left handed mug held in your left hand would have the image facing you.
Tumblers do not received interior colors, they are all glazed in a natural color and the base glazes crackles uniquely like out fingerprints.
Send photos and pets name via an Etsy Message directly from your order confirmation. Please submit a high-resolution photo: front facing, good lighting and close-up (be sure not to crop out the ears!) The better quality the photo the more accurate the portrait will turn out.

Once the sketch for the mug is complete you will receive an update, changes can be made at this time. Each piece is handmade, with that in mind, there can be tiny differences when multiples are ordered. When the mug is complete you will receive a photo prior to shipping for final approval. From beginning to end the process takes about 4-6 weeks (a little longer during peak shopping seasons, announcements will be made but note it can be up to 8 weeks, so please order early if you need it by a certain date).
Each mug is individually handmade in a durable porcelain clay body. The bottom will have both a stamped name (please make sure the spelling is correct) and my stamped signature. The animal featured is painted using underglazes against the natural clay background and covered completely with a thick coat of transparent gloss glaze. The colors will never fade. It is kiln fired to 2200 degrees.
I upcycle most of my packing materials that are sourced from friends or packages delivered to my home. I will only use well cared for materials. I try to remove branding (amazon or chewy tape) when shipping, but there are some images that cannot be avoided.
